Massage Therapy at MR
We're excited to introduce Massage Therapy in the Recovery Room with MR Athlete Paul Anderson! You'll find Paul most often in the 6:30am class but now you can see him each Wednesday in the Recovery Room offering 30, 60 and 90 minute massage sessions. Paul is excellent at what he does and can help address those tight, troublesome traps, lats and hips or wherever your problems lie. If you've been experiencing tightness, pain or limited range of motion, email Paul to reserve your time slot and you can choose full body or focus on a problem area. Wednesdays in the Recovery Room at MR 8am-5pm

Now Open: The Recovery Room!
The Recovery Room is officially open for all members to use! This space not only houses the sauna but all of our recovery tools like the compression boots, Theraguns and E-stim. Additionally, all of the yoga mats and blocks live in that room for your use. Lastly, the TV has a Chromecast that you can use to cast your ROMWOD, yoga video or whatever you are binge watching on Netflix right now….doesn’t matter to us!
PS The E-stim requires electrode patches which are available for purchase at MR. Talk to Sarah about buying your own set!

Nutrition Workshop
In case you missed the Nutrition Workshop, click ‘Read More’ to watch the whole workshop. Whether you are looking to improve health markers, lose body fat, do your first pull up, clean 200 pounds or recover more quickly, you need to focus on what you eat and drink. CrossFit, while some think is only about the workouts, prescribes a diet as well: eat meat, vegetables, some fruit, nuts and seeds, little starch and no sugar.
Sarah breaks down the CrossFit prescription and the Zone Diet during the workshop. She has years of experience with The Zone Diet as well as years of experience coaching people through it. She provides tips and tricks as well as breaks down a whole days worth of blocks.
Coach Sarah is available to answer your questions and all of your coaches want to hear if you are going to start a new nutrition plan so that we can cheer you on! Track your progress - we’d love to hear about it!

2021 Goals Workshop
CrossFit loves measuring progress over time and Movement Republic loves setting goals! Make a plan for what you'd like to achieve in 2021 and share it with your coaches and fellow athletes, we can support you in getting there!
If you didn’t make it to the Goal Planning Workshop, click Read More to see the video of the workshop. Sarah goes through what it means to make a goal that is right for you. Please make sure to fill out the form. It will help you make a detailed plan and your coaches can check in with you about progress and steps.
Lastly, check the goals board at the gym! Who else has the same goal as you? Connect with that person!
